I began working on the project today by growing my stock cultures of the bacterias that I will be using for the experiment and started extracting oil from lemon and Kradanga. We had a little mishap with the machine being used to extract the oil. The hose that was connected to the system got disconnected with the pressure and water leaked all over the lab. Never a dull day in the lab. On another note Aj. Narumol introduced me to a relative of the citrus genus whose common name is Kaffir lime. It smells like a combination of a lemon and mandarin. Kaffir lime oil is known to have strong insecticidal properties. According to Aj. Narumol its scent can help you when you are car sick. It is green, small, and very lumpy unlike its relative; lemon that is round.
